Bringing: Large blue tent/tarp like last time for community cooking area

Comments: Looking forward to seeing everyone. We'll cook one dinner,hopefully abalone & bbq chicken. Karen is looking forward to spending time with family and friends. Tyler and Bob are bringing their wet suits for some body surfing and boogie boarding. Come join us!
Gibb, Gary, Charlotte, Cody & Troy:
Arrive: Sat. Aug 4
Leaving: 4Sat. Aug. 11 or 12 (I wasn't sure if our reservation included the night of the 11th)
Inviting: Charley Kopp, Charlotte's musical partner and Tom's high schoolclassmate, will be dropping by with his 11-year-old son, Gabe, for some visiting and jamming.
Bringing:4 Guitar, lots of camp chairs, plywood table in case we need extra surface space for food prep or dining.
Special Plans/Activities:
Comments: 4Charlotte will bring a whole bunch of her homemade soon-to-be-award-winning green chili (just ask Karen!), and her giant salad bowl and giant soup pot, plus all my favorite knives and a cutting board. Can't wait to see everyone!
Hamilton, Pat, Karen and Jon
Arriving: Saturday Aug 4th probably mid day
Departing: Friday or Saturday depending on how the salmon are running in Sacramento.
Bringing: A perpetual eating machine with red hair, our large camp stove with the large gridle and some new cast iron skillets, dutch oven and small gridle. Pat hasn't decided whether to bring his guitar yet or not.
Special Plans and Activities: Offshore fishing for Jon and Pat with Mary and Gary. A college visitation to UC of Santa Cruz. Maybe go to the Harley Davidson Museum. Karen wants tto visit the arboretum at UC Santa Cruz (specializes in Protea and othe plants of the southern hemishphere). The rest of the time we plan to hangout, sleep and eat and yak of course.
Jacobs, Bill and Cathy
Arriving: Sunday August 5th, sometime in the late afternoon.
Leaving: Will stay through Friday and Leave Saturday Morning August 11th.
Bringing: No guest. But an Ice chest or two and an extra plastic tarp.
Special Plans and Activities: We are planning side trips to UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz for Anne, dates to be determined. I think Christine will be coming, but I do not know when or for how long.
Nancy, Bob & Sarah:
Unfortunately we are not going to be coming to the family gathering. I write that with a heavy heart, but the economics and timing of sending Sarah off to school make it impossible this year. We are, however, considering coming west for Christmas. We have a couple of un-used airline tickets to use before June, and spending Christmas alone out here is, well, lonely.
Sarah leaves for LA on August 18, where she will spend a week backpacking in Yosemite, and then starting at Loyola on the 27th.
